Anoka County Library - Offsite locations
Wargo Nature Center (7701 Main St, Lino Lakes, MN 55038)
Come see poet Molly Van Avery and Anoka County Library for an Earth Day Celebration at Wargo Nature Center. Molly Van Avery writes personalized poetry just for you as well as writing poems for you to give as a gift to someone you love. Join Molly at her typewriter as she talks to you about what your relationship is with planet Earth. Together you will think about what you want to say to the Earth: whether it's to give thanks for, apologize for, or just adore. After a short conversation, a poem will be written on the spot that you can take as a poetic reminder of what matters to you about Earth Day.
