Write On! Teen Short Story Contest

Students in grades 7 through 12 have a chance to show off their writing skills in Anoka County Library’s second annual “Write On!” short story writing contest. Teens can read contest guidelines on the library's website. Submissions will be accepted from teenagers living in Anoka County beginning April 1, 2017 through April 30, 2017. Cool Ways to Reuse Old Books

This class will show teens how to transform old books into amazing sculptures, room decorations, and even functional art pieces. Mixed-media sculpture, paper crafting, and collage techniques will be taught as students create iPod docks, treasure boxes, and even sculptures.
