Volunteer for Rum River Lights on AfterSchool

Please complete a volunteen application and parental approval form before volunteering. Volunteers need to commit to 5 hours between October through December. Two additional hours will be arranged with Susan if you have not volunteered for other Rum River Library activities. Must be between 12 - 17 years old or going into 7th grade.

Write In for National Novel Writing Month

November is National Novel Writing Month (NANORIMO), and The Columbia Heights Library is hosting a drop-in style writing event.  There’s no need to be there the whole time, just come when you can and stay as long as you want.  This is a chance to connect with other writers, work on your novel, and get inspired!  We will have free Wi-Fi, free coffee and tea, power strips, and a large room for writers to gather in.
